A chronological account of the events at Soesterberg Air Base in the central Netherlands during World War II. The Dutch base was attacked by the German Luftwaffe in May 1940, and then occupied by the Luftwaffe until the end of the war. The installation hosted numerous German missions, including participation in the Battle of Britain. The United States Army Air Forces bombed the base several times during the conflict.

The study contains an important map that depicts German utilization of the installation.
